I’m Sam. Aussie by birth, but Japan got its hooks into me early, growing up around a Japanese-owned horse farm and a rotating cast of homestay guests, with Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z filling in the rest. One trip over there was enough to confirm what years of integration had already done. This site is where I write about J-League, sumo, anime, video games, and the culture and history behind them. I’m just someone who’s been quietly into this stuff since before he could read.
